2021 Chateau Haut-Brion Pessac Leognan

Haut-Brion immediately asserts its majestic strength, an intensity without violence. The tannins are perfectly organised, but the wine is also very tannic: it is certainly the most structured wine in the appellation and the best equipped for long ageing. The length is remarkable, with the wine tiptoeing along, almost rearing up, never leaving its 'quant-à-soi', but revealing an aromatic spectrum of great richness, racy and already complex.
