H.M. Borges Tinta Negra Madeira Doce 2015

Harvested in a single year (2015) and bottled in 2023, this wine is made from Tinta Negra grapes harvested in the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, with volcanic and basaltic soils, with a clay texture, acidic and rich in organic matter. The climate is subtropical, with hot summers and temperate winters. The vineyards are very close to the sea, which gives the wines a perfect acidity.
Tinta Negra | Doce Madeira Harvest Wine has a pale amber colour with yellow-orange reflections. It has an intense aroma of exotic woods with a predominance of caramel, honey, toast and roasted almonds. On the palate, the taste is heady, velvety and persistent, with a character all its own, imparted by the wood of the cask, rich and complex. Notes of iodine, tobacco, spices, nuts, chocolate and vanilla.
