1. Who we are

This website is operated by Le Soleil Wines, tax number (NIF) PT309900166, registered office Rua São Domingos de Benfica 7 c/v E, 1500-555 Lisboa, Portugal. Contact: cellar@lesoleilwines.com.

2. Scope

These terms apply to all requests, offers and sales of wines and spirits by Le Soleil Wines to private and business clients.

Alcohol is sold only to persons aged 18 or over. By placing a request you confirm that you are of legal age to buy alcohol in the country of delivery.

3. Requests and offers

This website is not an online shop. Bottles, lists and prices shown are for information and subject to availability.

The cellar is traded continuously. A wine shown on the website or in a price list may be reserved or sold at any moment, including after you send a request. Availability is guaranteed only for the wines and quantities confirmed in our written offer, within its validity period.

After your request we send a written offer with the wines, formats, price, delivery costs and validity period. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer and payment is received.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros and include VAT at the legal rate unless the offer states otherwise. Import duties and taxes outside the European Union are the client's responsibility.

Payment is made by bank transfer to the company account (SEPA transfer in euros, or international transfer to our IBAN) or by PayPal, as stated in the offer. Bottles are reserved for the validity period of the offer; if payment is not received within that period, the reservation is released.

5. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out in the offer and on the Shipping Information page.

Risk passes to the client on delivery. Refused parcels are not refunded.

6. Mature and collectible bottles

Mature and collectible wines may show natural variations in fill level, cork, capsule and label. The relevant condition of each bottle is described in the offer.

7. Damage and non-conformity

Damaged parcels should be photographed and inspected with the courier on delivery, and the claim sent to us within 24 hours.

All statutory conformity rights under Decree-Law 84/2021 remain unaffected.

8. Right of withdrawal

For distance contracts, consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, under Decree-Law 24/2014. Bottles must be returned unopened and in the condition delivered; return costs are borne by the client.

This right does not apply to alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed when the contract was concluded, which can only be delivered after 30 days and whose value depends on market fluctuations, nor to goods personalised at the client's request.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order, except where the law does not permit such a limitation.

11. Governing law and disputes

Portuguese law applies.
