Terra D'Alter Outeiro Alentejano 2019

Founded in 2004, Terras de Alter is a collaboration between Sociedade Agrícola das Antas and Sociedade Agrícola do Monte Barrão, both of which have a rich agricultural heritage in the Alentejo region. Under the guidance of winemaker Peter Bright, the winery focuses on capturing the most intense flavours of the grapes grown in the sun-drenched Alentejo.

Bright emphasises the distinctive characteristics of the Portuguese grape varieties grown at Herdade das Antas and Herdade do Monte Barrão, located in Alter do Chão and Fronteira. Committed to showcasing the region's unique terroir, Terras de Alter produces wines that reflect the vibrant essence of the Alentejo, celebrating both its traditions and the potential of its indigenous grape varieties.
