Baias e Enseadas Tinto 2016

The Baías and Enseadas wines were the realisation of a long-held dream, which began in 2012 with the clearing of the land in the future Ribeirinha vineyard in Codiceira, Sintra, followed by the actual planting the following year. These two vineyards are the main source of grapes for the Baías and Enseadas wines. The soils in which these vineyards are located are essentially clay-limestone, with a predominance of clay in Vinha da Ribeirinha and limestone in Vinha do Campo, resulting in more voluminous wines in the former and more elegant wines in the latter. The combination of grapes from these two vineyards produces more complex wines.
