It's a label so famous that we wouldn't have it any other way. Yet it doesn't meet the aesthetic criteria of Christian Moueix, a connoisseur of contemporary art. Nevertheless, it remains one of the symbols of great French wines. This is hardly surprising when you consider that even in a delicate vintage, this legendary wine produces a remarkably successful wine with a sumptuous burgundy colour and black highlights. Its bouquet is still developing, but it already boasts a fireworks display of floral scents (lilies), hints of blackberries and blueberries, and dried fruits such as toasted almonds and hazelnuts, as well as finely roasted oak. The palate is elegant and in harmony with the nose; the power does not overwhelm the finesse. The tannins have an unparalleled texture, being both tight and flavourful. Another great wine.
