Munjebel CR is a Nerello Mascalese from the Campo Re vineyard, which has long been included in the Contadino blend. This is the first year that Frank Cornelissen has vinified the finest part of the vineyard separately, producing a wine of surprising finesse with a well-defined fruit fragrance. Although the bunches have not yet reached perfect phenolic maturity, they are capable of producing very deep wines, especially in dry vintages.
