H.M. Borges Tinta Negra Madeira Meio Seco 2013

Harvested in a single year (2013) and bottled in 2022, this wine is made from Tinta Negra grapes harvested in the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, with volcanic and basaltic soils, with a clay texture, acidic and rich in organic matter. The climate is subtropical, with hot summers and temperate winters. The vineyards are very close to the sea, which gives the wines a perfect acidity.
Madeira Tinta Negra Harvest Wine | Semi-Dry has a pale amber colour. Its aroma is a mixture of delicacy at the beginning and brutality at the end. The initial notes of curry give way to nutmeg, toasted almonds, iodine and dried fruit. On the palate, the wine is harmonious, supple and persistent, with an excellent balance between acidity and tannins.
