The 2014 vintage can be likened to a three-part climatic waltz, with sharp and distinct contrasts. After a dry spring and a cool summer, which was comparable to autumn, came a hot, dry September. The excellence of this vintage stems from a combination of soil types and winemaking expertise. The chalky soils, which drain effectively and are located in the middle to lower part of the hillsides, played a crucial role in eliminating excess water and controlling the vigour of the vines. This 2014 vintage champagne is renowned for its finesse and aromatic character.
