The Cuvée Spécial Club Cramant Grand Cru 2016 from PIERRE GIMONNET & FILS is a rarity in every respect, firstly in terms of quantity (only 3,880 bottles produced) and secondly because it is a single terroir cuvée and 100% Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs.
This Blanc de Blancs is a blend of 40 plots of old vines and 9 lieux-dits of very great Chardonnays. Harvested by hand and aged on the lees for 4 years, it is disgorged three months before bottling.
This 100% Chardonnay from Cramant Grand Cru Extra-Brut (4gr/l) is a cuvée for lovers of more unusual champagnes. A champagne of silky elegance and great depth. A little jewel to be discovered.
