Textura D. Áurea is a heartfelt tribute to Grandmother Áurea, honouring her Portuguese heritage and the vibrant, joyful spirit she shared with all. This exclusive 100% Bastardo wine from the Dão Serra da Estrela sub-region grows at an altitude of 600 metres on granite soils and embodies elegance, finesse and depth. The 2020 vintage benefited from a wet winter, with an early warm spell in February that accelerated budding. A generally cool summer, punctuated by a short hot spell, culminated in an early September harvest to preserve the variety's characteristic fruitiness and elegance. It's the perfect wine to raise a glass to Mrs Áurea, a wine full of character and affection.
