Tiago Teles Gilda is a natural, organic and vegan red wine produced in the DOC Bairrada region of Beiras, Portugal. Tiago Teles, originally a wine writer, founded his winery in 2012 in Bairrada, where his family roots lie. His deep knowledge of Portugal's vineyards inspired him to embrace the region's potential for creating vibrant and complex wines. The vines, which are on average 25 years old, grow on limestone and clay soils enriched by the Atlantic breeze. They are grown organically, without herbicides, pesticides or synthetic chemicals, reflecting Tiago's commitment to sustainable practices. The grapes are hand-picked and undergo traditional winemaking techniques. After crushing, they are left to macerate and ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged in wooden barrels for 11 months before being bottled with minimal or no sulphites. Tiago Teles Gilda captures the essence of the Atlantic terroir, offering an authentic, balanced red wine with complexity and vitality.
