Rebuscado III Pipas Tinto 2020

This 100% Touriga Nacional red wine showcases a meticulous winemaking approach with two distinct vinifications. In one process, the grapes are destemmed, foot-trodden and then bled. In the alternative method, 70% of the grapes are destemmed, foot-trodden and only after this, the remaining 30% of the grapes are introduced, followed by bleeding the must.
Post-alcoholic fermentation, the grapes undergo pressing in a pneumatic press, concluding their malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels that have previously been used. The wine then matures for a duration of 9 months within these barrels, contributing to its complexity and character.
It's noteworthy that this wine has not undergone filtration, preserving its natural integrity, and as a result, may contain deposits. The culmination of this intricate process results in a wine that was bottled in June 2020, reflecting the distinctive qualities of the Touriga Nacional grape.
