For about three decades, Master Daniel dedicated himself to the production of carved wine, continuing a family legacy passed down through generations. After his death, production continued for a short time, but in 1990 the winery was closed. Almost thirty years later, in 2018, the winery was reactivated, once again honouring the cultural and family heritage in the production of Talha wine.
This wine, a reliquary of times gone by, revives the ancient practice of preserving wine under a layer of olive oil. After fermenting and maturing for six months in one barrel, a special selection of the wine was transferred to another barrel, where it remained for a year under the protection of olive oil, following a meticulous aging technique.
