2022 Patrick Javillier Meursault Les Clousots

 

Meursault Les Clousots is the result of the marriage of two climats: Meursault Les Clous, at the top of the slopes, and Meursault Les Crotots, just below the Premiers Crus, the Porusots.
This Meursault is the result of the marriage of two climats: Les Clous, on the upper part of the classic Meursault slopes, exposed to the east and with a clayey soil; and Les Crotots, also exposed to the east, but with a clay-limestone soil and situated below the Meursault Premier Cru Les Porusots.
The wine has a delicate bouquet with fruity aromas, pleasant and very fragrant; in the mouth it is fleshy with a lot of freshness and some clean citrus notes. The wine is deep and harmonious with a long and fine finish. It is an excellent wine for ageing.
