Yvan Bernard and Les Chemins de l'Arkose represent a vibrant and passionate story of winemaking, deeply rooted in the volcanic soils and heritage of the Auvergne region. Yvan, a charismatic figure with a love of rugby and the land, embodies the spirit of this central French region.
Preservation and advocacy: Yvan has been a strong advocate for maintaining economic activity in the region, fighting the depopulation trends that began in the 1950s.
Cultural identity: The labels have long reflected the political and cultural heritage of the region, with slogans such as "Volem vire al païs" and more recent expressions such as "Banlieue Rouge", demonstrating the winery's connection to its community.
