The Phulia Wines project began in 2013 when two friends, João and Luís, who were still students in Coimbra, decided to revive neglected vineyards in the Lima Valley, which is located within the Vinho Verde region. Their production centres around grape varieties such as Loureiro, Arinto, Alvarinho, Vinhão, and the more recent and international Sauvignon Blanc. Despite being a small enterprise, Phulia Wines has acquired recognition for its exceptional wines that truly capture the most Atlantic essence of the region.
A standout in their collection is the 100% Loureiro wine, known for its complexity. Desvirttuado, as it is named, promises to be an iconic representation of the Lima Valley.
