The earthy impact of the clay from the amphora intertwines with notes of ripe fruit, orange compote, marmalade, and pear, creating a rich and intense aromatic profile. With time in the glass, the earthy notes and complexity are renewed.
On the palate, the wine is intense and multi-textured, characterised by evident unctuousness that is skilfully counter-balanced by the firmness of elegant yet present tannins. The acidity, alive and surprisingly sapid, contributes to a well-balanced composition, providing an enormous length to the experience. The wine concludes with a long and highly complex finish.
