2019 saw the birth of the 747 cuvée. The wines are aromatic and full-bodied, with the Pinot Noir standing out in particular. A few reserve wines complete the cuvée. A blend of the Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (68%), Avize and Oiry (32%) terroirs. This cuvée is made up of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. As with the previous cuvées, 746 is vinified in old oak barrels with periods of batonnage, malolactic fermentation and an Extra Brut dosage of 1.5 g/l to preserve all the personality of this wine. This Cuvée 746 has a lovely bouquet of fruit and ripeness, then evolves into a gourmet touch. On the palate, the attack is very elegant, the 4 years of ageing have rounded the wine. On the palate, the very fine and elegant texture of this cuvée asserts itself with a fine structure and, above all, great balance. The freshness is present in the structure and gives way to expressiveness and power. Perfect as an aperitif, this champagne will also go well with oysters, shellfish, fish or a velouté.
