Our goal is to encapsulate the richness of the region's terroirs in a single wine.
The grapes hail from old vines, aged over 60 years. Some are grown in transition zones with shale/granite soils at an altitude of 500m, primarily exposed to the North, while others thrive in the traditional Douro areas with schist soils in Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo, at an altitude of 250m, predominantly facing South/West.
The process begins with a manual harvest using 20kg boxes. Upon reception, the grapes undergo complete destemming and crushing, followed by a cold maceration lasting for 2 days. The fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with the aim of producing an elegant and smooth wine with delicate extraction.
