Benoit Lahaye is a true virtuoso of biodynamic agriculture at Bouzy, but he also owns a remote plot in the southern part of the Côte des Blancs, in the village of Voipreux. An area famous for producing the finest Chardonnay in Champagne. Planted in 1952, the small plot of 0.2 hectares is too remote for Benoit to manage on his own. So this particular plot is farmed by Pierre Larmandier, a close friend of Benoit's and a respected biodynamic winemaker in the Côte des Blancs. A blend of two different vintages, Blanc de Blancs is a remarkable, stylish expression of Chardonnay, free of sulphites and dosage.
