This is a story told by two Sara by Antonio - Mouraz, situated in the heart of Dão region, is António’s birth place, where his family have farmed vineyards in a holistic and ecological way for many generations. Casa de Mouraz's story unfolds in a landscape shaped by both people and nature. Amidst old and new vineyards, diverse trees, and wild forests, the wines reflect the rich terroir. The farm spans various parcels with granite and clay soils, ranging from 140 to 400 meters in altitude. Indigenous grape varieties like Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Malvasia-Fina thrive, imparting a unique personality to red and white wines. Casa de Mouraz is more than winemaking; it's a celebration of the deep connection between the land and those who nurture it, a timeless tale echoing through generations.
