Crafted from 20-year-old vines nestled in a 0.2-hectare sandy-soiled vineyard known as Amoreira da Gândara, this wine undergoes a meticulous production process. The grapes, carefully sorted in the vineyard, are hand-harvested in mid-August. Following a five-day maceration period in stainless steel, spontaneous fermentation takes place for three weeks without temperature control, a process that is concluded in the bottle. Throughout this time, the wine remains on lees without stirring, contributing to its unique character. Notably, the wine is unfined and unfiltered, allowing its pure, unadulterated essence to shine through.
