Grapes sourced from old vineyards in the Planalto Mirandes, positioned at an altitude exceeding 600 metres, where schist soils predominate, showcasing different exposures.
The vineyards feature old vines, with Marufo, Bastardo, and Tinta Gorda being the predominant varieties.
The grapes undergo a manual harvest in 20kg boxes, followed by a reception involving partial destemming and gentle crushing. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats, emphasising minimal extraction.
Maturation: The wine matures for 12 months in used Portuguese oak barrels.
Tasting Note: This wine presents an open ruby colour. The delicate aroma initially features fresh red fruits, expanding into a subtle smoky character. On the palate, it is remarkably fresh and light, exhibiting well-balanced acidity and tannins, concluding with a long and mineral finish.
