Hand-harvested grapes undergo complete destemming, followed by a 24-hour skin maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at approximately 21ºC. After fermentation, the wine matures in a cement tank, reminiscent of the historic winemaking era under Carlos Lucas. This method hearkens back to the traditional use of cement. Displaying a medium ruby hue, it exudes an aroma of wild berries and subtle spices. The wine is notably fresh and youthful, maintaining a vibrant aromatic character. Rustic on the palate with outstanding acidity, it encapsulates the classic essence of Dão wines adeptly. Contains sulphites.
