Filipa Pato Nossa Calcario Branco 2022

This white wine is the result of a joint project between Filipa Pato and her husband to make a wine that expresses the full potential of the exceptional terroir of Óis do Bairro. This village has been known since the 19th century for its great capacity to produce exceptional white wines, grand cru, with the richness and cut of top level white Burgundy.
The nose is very mineral with a smoky note due to the limestone soil. It has a pronounced fruity note of pear (typical of Bical) and a slightly nutty character (hazelnut, almond, pine). After some time in the glass, it even reveals thyme and honey.
