H.M. Borges Tinta Negra Madeira 2005

The grapes are sourced from growers around the island who have a long-standing relationship with H.M. Borges. The altitude ranges from 100 to 800 metres above sea level. The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Fermentation is stopped on the second day with the addition of neutral vinous alcohol at 96% ABV. Volcanic and basaltic soils, clayey, acidic and rich in organic matter.
