Les Chemins de l'Arkose is located in the Auvergne, south of Clermont-Ferrand. Founded in 2001 by Yvan Bernard, who was joined a few years ago by Audrey Baldassin, it now has 11 hectares of biodynamic vines. The wines are straightforward, precise and aromatic.
The 'Oppidum' cuvée comes from a plot of Chardonnay about thirty years old, planted on a steep slope on a terroir combining limestone and basalt. Vinified and aged in oak barrels.
Oppidum 2022: The nose is fruity and inviting, with notes of citrus and orchard fruits. Full-bodied, long and balanced on the palate. Fresh and delicious finish.
