Derived from vines aged over 25 years and cultivated across various plots with clay-limestone soils in São Lourenço and Óis do Bairro, this wine embodies the richness of its terroir. The grape selection is a meticulous process, carried out by hand at the end of August. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, lasting for three weeks, following the traditional method. Subsequently, the wine undergoes an extensive ageing process, resting on its lees within the bottle for an impressive six years. This prolonged maturation period contributes to its depth and complexity. It's worth noting that the wine retains its pure and unadulterated character as it refrains from fining or clarification, presenting itself as an unfiltered expression of the vineyard's essence.
