XXVI Talhas
XXVI Talhas – tradition reborn in clay. Based in Vila Alva, deep in the Alentejo heartland, XXVI Talhas revives the ancient Roman method of talha winemaking – fermenting and aging wines in large clay amphorae. Named after the 26 amphorae that started the project, the winery honors centuries of local heritage while embracing organic farming and minimal intervention. The wines are pure, textured, and earthy – alive with the soul of Alentejo and the timeless energy of clay.
