Camolas Grande Escolha is a precious wine for our winery, made with Castelão grapes from our oldest vineyard, planted in 1931 on sandy soil. Following the tradition of that time, this vineyard remains unarmed, with the vines not organised in neat rows, making mechanisation impossible. The aim was to create a wine that truly embodies the Castelão variety and the essence of the Palmela region. It is a remarkable wine from a truly ancient vineyard, reflecting the rich heritage and dedication to traditional winemaking.
