Vincent Girardin is the eleventh generation of the Girardin family. Originally founded in Santenay, Domaine Vincent Girardin now covers some twenty hectares, from Santenay to the Montagne de Corton, in various appellations such as Chassagne and Puligny. Vincent Girardin follows a very specific approach to viticulture on all his plots, in order to produce wines that best reflect their terroir. Today, Domaine Girardin produces wines that are recognised worldwide for their quality.
This Bienvenues Batard Montrachet from Maison Girardin is made from vines with an average age of 55 years. On the nose, this 2015 wine has aromas of dried fruit similar to hazelnut. Its body is pronounced and smooth. On the palate, this wine offers an intense and persistent flavour.
