Benoit Lahaye makes his Millesime Champagne only in vintages he considers exceptional and always from the heart of his vineyards in Bouzy. The Monts de Tauxieres vineyard was planted in 1966 and the blend for the 2013 Millesime is approximately 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay. Charming with a deep fruity and floral nose, the palate is a beast of power, tremendous energy and intensity. A terroir-driven, age-worthy champagne that won't stop gaining complexity with many more years in the bottle.
