The term 'Matriarch' embodies the essence of The Mother. The Matriarch is the cornerstone who envelops the entire family, ensuring unity, protection, and joy. This particular wine originates from a vineyard undergoing revitalisation after a period of abandonment, situated near the birthplace and childhood homes of the producer's Mother and Grandmother. It serves as a heartfelt homage to the Matriarchs who have shaped his life - his Mother, Grandmother (captured alongside the producer in a photograph commemorating their first bath in his home), and his Wife, who transitioned into motherhood just days before this inaugural harvest.
Presenting a delicate light yellow hue, the wine unfolds its aromatic profile with discernible notes of ripe fruit, lemon, apple, melon, and pineapple, complemented by mineral undertones and hints of dried leaves. In the mouth, it offers a smooth and luxurious experience, accompanied by refreshing acidity and a prolonged, saline-tinged finish.
