Tarlant Le Triumvirat Brut Nature 2009

Le Triumvirat is a premium vintage champagne that reflects the unique characteristics and expertise of the family-run Tarlant business. Led by siblings Mélanie and Benoît Tarlant, the company is one of the absolute leaders in the winemaker champagne scene. Le Triumvirat takes its name from the three plots from which it is made: Les Crayons, Les Sables and L'Enclume. This Brut Nature, composed of 58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir, represents the rich terroir of Champagne, presenting aromas of brioche, flint and candied citrus. On the palate, the wine is intense and fresh with a juicy, slightly chalky texture and saline minerality. Aging in oak barrels and maturation on lees for over 12 years contribute to its enormous complexity. This champagne is perfectly suited to accompany white meats and fish dishes with creamy sauces, as well as seafood risotto.
